This is a good piece of equipment. I took a foul ball off of the shoulder and didn't feel it. It is very lightweight .

The protection is awesome but just not long enough in coverage over the belly area.
Was a little difficult to adjust, but once that was done it fits like it was made for me. Great material and workmanship at a reasonable cost.
Good for the price and comfortable, it is better for umpiring youth games as I don't feel it provides enough protection for older games or pitchers that throw hard.
